Meet the Coach

I’m Amy Lee Miller — leadership coach, advisor, and speaker with a background in organizational psychology and over a decade of experience working closely with leaders across biotech, medtech, and diagnostics.

I work with leaders on how they show up in the moments that matter—high-stakes conversations, decisions under pressure, and leading others with clarity.

Leadership challenges aren’t always obvious at first.
They tend to show up in smaller, everyday moments:

  • Leaving a conversation thinking, “that’s not what I meant to say”
    • Over-explaining, softening, or hesitating instead of being direct
    • Stepping in too quickly instead of observing what’s actually happening
    • Communication gaps across teams or functions
    • Misalignment that isn’t being clearly addressed
    • Decisions that feel unclear or harder than they should be

My work is grounded in organizational psychology and shaped by years of real-world experience in high-stakes hiring and leadership environments. That combination has built strong pattern recognition into how leaders think, communicate, and make decisions—especially when the pressure is high.

I focus on helping leaders and teams close the gap between how they’re currently showing up and how they want to lead.

I reached out to Amy shortly after stepping into a new leadership role. While I was excited about the opportunity, I quickly realized that leadership comes with an entirely different set of challenges than being an individual contributor.

While changing lifelong patterns takes time and intentional practice, I am already seeing meaningful progress in how I communicate, advocate for myself, and show up in professional settings.

From frameworks for setting boundaries and delivering feedback to thoughtful journaling exercises that encouraged deeper self reflection, every session left me with something actionable. She didn't just help me understand why I operate the way I do, she gave me strategies to create lasting change.

I still have plenty of room to grow, but I feel more self aware, more intentional, and more confident than when I started. The growth I've experienced over the last 6 months or so has been invaluable, and I know it will continue to impact both my career and personal life for years to come.
